Support

Reaalnebuss is an app for the daily commute: departures from your stops, your lines and your bus, in realtime. Harju County buses, Tallinn buses, trams and trolleybuses, Tartu city buses and trains across Estonia are in realtime. Other counties have timetables only.

The app is free. It is an independent personal project, not an official app of any transport operator.

Questions

Are Harju County buses in realtime?

Yes. Harju County buses are in realtime: departures at the stop and buses on the map, as for Tallinn buses, trams and trolleybuses, Tartu city buses and trains.

Can I follow my bus on the Lock Screen?

Yes, on iPhone and Android. Pick a departure or a stop of the trip, and the Lock Screen shows how many stops are left and when the bus reaches your stop: on iPhone also in the Dynamic Island, on Android as an ongoing notification. You can watch a stop and its next departures the same way.

How do I keep an eye on a connection?

You can watch several things at once: your bus up to the stop where you change, and that stop with only the line you change to. Both show on the Lock Screen.

Why does a bus show only a timetable time?

The operator’s feed has no realtime data for that trip right now, or the line is outside Tallinn, Harju County, Tartu city lines and trains. The app then shows the timetable time, without the live symbol.

Why does the app ask for my location?

To show stops near you and your position on the map. Location is optional; search and favourites work without it.

Why is a bus missing from the map?

The data comes from unofficial feeds and can be late or missing. The app then shows the timetable time.

Does the app cost anything?

No. It is free and has no ads.
